Zusammenfassung: | In an international College, like the Canisianum, there is the chance to make real an idea of Christian faith and theological thinking that transcends boundaries. This transboundary demand is supported by the decree Nostra Aetate alluding to the „radiation of Christ's truth" (NA 2: radius illius veritatis). This radiation is universal, and the Church can be open to it in the shape of a „relational catholicity". One way of perceiving this „radiation" consists in being attentive at the „signs of the time". The plurality of cultures and religions is such a „sign of the time". It is foundational theology that reflects on this topic in terms of contextuality and responsive global theology. |
