Zusammenfassung:This article describes the view and the critique of socialism in the works of V. Soloviev (1853–1900). The author of the study uses a chronological method or more precisely the method of biographical relativity of Soloviev's texts. For the young Russian philosopher socialism had been attractive to a certain degree. For example he qualified the protest against social injustice as the truth of socialism („pravda socializma"). But from the early to the late works Soloviev criticized the materialistic anthropology of socialism and its egalitarian and revolutionary tendencies too. In Soloviev's last book about the "antichrist" the pseudoreligious pretension of socialism which attempts constructing the reign of God on earth without God and Jesus Christ is for him the main point of critique. On the whole one can see in Soloviev's texts a theologically and ethically founded negation of socialism which involves also a veto against capitalism. At last it remains to be noted that V. Soloviev knew and criticized especially the before-Marxist socialism. For the Russian situation after the crash of the soviet system Soloviev's critique of socialism appears very relevant.
