Zusammenfassung:	Literaturangaben 'Renewables' and 'Rural Electrification' are the important key words of this publication. 'Rural' represents areas that are not adequately reached with energy supplies. For the developing world this word implies poverty, under development and a host of things connected. Of the energy services that are none more than mere amenities, 'Electricity Supply' is foremost. This is so vital that in most cases, the electrification rate is the yardstick of development. This is true of almost the entire developing world, which constitutes about two-thirds of the world's population. <engl.>
