Zusammenfassung:How do students study on courses delivered via distance learning in different parts of Europe? How did study patterns change during the COVID-19 lockdowns? What type of study materials did students prefer during the COVID-19 lockdowns? In this article we present the key outcomes of our research. Students from the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (UAS BFI Vienna), Copenhagen Business Academy (Cphbusiness), and Glasir Tórshavn College in the Faroe Islands (Glasir) were tasked with finding answers to these and other questions posed by the publishing house McGraw Hill (MH) which acted as project sponsor for the research project. The students worked together to complete a hybrid project designed in a Collaborative Online Intercultural Learning (COIL) format.
