Zusammenfassung:Dissertation, Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, 2010
The present work investigate children and adult conceptions about plants as living entities in order to respond to the assumption that plants could die. We suppose that childrens as adults hold naïves biologicals knowledges before teaching composed of a system of two different part. The first one predict that plants will be seen as living entities dispite of their lack of movement. The second one predict that children will assume that plants could explain the death of plants throught appropriate explanation as (vitalism or essentialism) in the same way that they respond to other biological properties (healing, growing, eating, breathing, the ability of reproduction and the sharing of genetic code with their re latives). We also investigate the possibility to transform the children's conceptions in using a teaching about the internal fonctionning of a tree. Our work principaly participate to show that early conceptions are very difficult to transform
