A "David and Goliath" by Artemisia Gentileschi rediscovered in 2018 a painting of David and Goliath previously kown only from an old photograph came to light at auction Germany : it is here identified as one of the three recorded versions of the subject by Artemisia Gentileschi and is dated to the late 1630s, when the artist was in London
