It reflects intercultural and transcultural encounters as well as the discovery and change of humanity. In this great transnational and transcultural space, music developed into its own expression of glocalised forms and styles. The "New Silk Road" project, supported by the Chinese government, is based on historical narratives and builds on the goal of achieving a Sino-European Silk Road Dialogue. The cooperation of all involved countries and regions helps maintain peace and enables good global-economic, transnational trade relations. Music and “music making” can help with the cultural exchange and intercultural cooperation of the "New Silk Road". |
