Zusammenfassung:The governments of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam cautiously initiated a limited process of economic reform almost two decades ago. The reform process accelerated in the mid-1980s and again incresased in scope and intensity at the end of the last decade. In the beginning, the scope and sequence of these reforms appeared similar, but over time, each government pursued its own package of reforms. The author compares the reforms implemented in agriculture, state-owned enterprises, and the macro-economic arena to illustrate the different paths taken by these three states. (DÜI-Sen)
