Dynamics of fuelwood prices in India policy implications

The authors trace the changes in prices of fuelwood in urban centres over the years in India. Fuelwood prices have risen in India relative to prices in other commodities. Policy interventions needed to change the situation are suggested. (DÜI-Sen)
