The Enlightenment, Industrial Revolution and French Revolution in the 18th century, and in the 19th century the micro-scale administrative mentality, regime forms, social structure, urbanization, individual-state and production-consumption relations and macro scale redefinition of the framework of interstate relations. The author chronicles the painful story of the 'longest century' of a great empire that changed in every field and transformed its administrative mentality, traditional institutions and social structure to come in line with the spirit of modernity |
