Zusammenfassung:For Primary Source, Francesca Capone pointed an iPhone with activated Word Lens at the cover of Den’ poėzii (Poetry Day), a poetry annual published in 1962 by the Soviet Writer publishing house in Moscow. The cover, featuring a grid-like pattern in the style of Piet Mondrian and De Stijl, caused ever changing errors and glitches in the Word Lens app. Even the very first translation attempt detects an "in" in the grid where there is none: "Day in Poetry." The book is a collection of the software’s efforts at capture and translation, with additional disruptions caused by several changes of the language from which it is supposed to translate (at the time, Russian, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish were supported). ...
