The essay examines some of the engravings that appear to be particularly significant for understanding the overall direction in which Gian Francesco Barbieri’s didactic activity unfolded, in the historical framework in which they came to light. Il presente contributo mira a far luce su un aspetto poco conosciuto delle attività del Guercino, quelle svolte in seno all’Accademia del nudo di Cento, e sugli album che l’artista emiliano predispose per i suoi allievi. Il saggio propone la disamina di alcune fra le incisioni che appaiono particolarmente significative per comprendere in quale direzione procedano complessivamente i percorsi didattici di Giovan Francesco Barbieri, e la cornice storica in cui essi sono stati sviluppati. |
