The Kubbealtı Academy Culture and Art Foundation (Kubbealtı Akademisi Kültür ve Sanat Vakfı, Istanbul) was established under the name The Kubbealtı Association (Kubbealtı Cemiyeti) in 1970, taking its current name in 1978. Published on the occasion of the Foundation’s fiftieth anniversary, the present catalogue covers 193 manuscripts bequeathed by Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi, a founding member, as well as three manuscripts left by his sister Sâmiha Ayverdi to her grandson Sinan Uluant.
