Exhibition of sculptor and installation artist, Lydia Azout (Colombia 1942) whose works, created , through the use of elements drawn from nature and transformed through human intervention, continually play with dualities: line and space, masculine and feminine. "Estructuras del vacío" is a stainless-steel specific site installation that consists of five circular elements located on the stairs leading to the main entry of the MAMBO. The artwork is a walk-through monumental sculpture, composed of five concentric circular elements, which takes the visitor to the last element, which becomes the vanishing point of the entire composition. This is a complex structure consisting of 64 modular tetrahedra, whose internal shape is an octahedron painted in gold, inspired by the "flower of life", a geometric shape composed of multiple overlapping and evenly spaced circles arranged in a pattern similar to a flower, bended like the symmetry of a hexagon
