Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Organized by the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation and Venetian Heritage, in association with Gagosian, the exhibition 'Pittura/Panorama' on Helen Frankenthaler's paintings from 1952 to 1992 will be presented at the Palazzo Grimani in Santa Maria Formosa, one of the most important cultural centers in Venice during the 16th century and home to a family famous for both its collections and its patronage of the arts. The atmosphere of the building emphasizes the use of colours in Frankenthaler's paintings, who was influenced in her use of colour by the great Venetian artists of the 1500s. The exhibition features 14 paintings of the artist that offer an overview of forty years of the artist's career. Exhibition: Museo di Palazzo Grimani, Venice, Italy (07.05-17.11.2019)
