Yorkshire-based for over 30 years, Michael Lyons gained recognition in the 1960s through inclusion in group exhibitions such as the ICA's 'Young Contemporaries' and Whitworth's 'Northern Young Contemporaries'. In a creative career of over 50 years he has been acclaimed as one of the finest steel sculptors of his generation.
