Zusammenfassung:This monograph offers a literary analysis and a synoptic critical edition of the Yanuqa story printed in Zohar III, 186a-192a. This study contains a detailed literary analysis of the poetic and mythopoeic aspects of the Zoharic Yanuqa story, alongside a critical edition that explores the evidence and analysis of three editing stages of this Zoharic story. This monograph contributes to the understanding of the poetic mechanisms that construct the mythopoeic dimensions of this Zoharic story. This study specifically explores the means by which the figures of Rav Hamnuna Sava (the wise old man) and the Yanuqa (the Zoharic wunderkind), are transformed from being narrative characters to mythical figures, portrayed as mythopoeic incarnations of God and his Son.
