Beschreibung:For centuries, the original Hebrew text of the Book of Jubilees was lost, and it was preserved only in Ge'ez translations. In 1861, a fragmentary Latin translation was discovered, and in 1921, citations from a Syriac chronograph were identified as being from the Book of Jubilees. In the second half of the 20th century, fragments from the Hebrew text of the Book of Jubilees were discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls. This volume contains a Hebrew translation that takes into account information from all of the available sources
