The proposed book will make a significant contribution to the literature on energy transition and sustainable development in developing economies. While there is a burgeoning literature on energy transition, the majority of it is centered on developed economies. This proposed book will fill a significant research gap in the literature by offering an in-depth examination of the challenges and opportunities that confront developing economies in transitioning to cleaner forms of energy and how good governance and sound fiscal policies can facilitate this transition.
