Zusammenfassung:Everywhere, women are forced into combative positions in a struggle for recognition not just as mothers but their willingness, resilience, and determination to be successful entrepreneurs. There have been different women’s economic empowerment interventions, but these programs are not enough to overcome the barriers in place. Still, gender and entrepreneurial activities influence the growth of the economy of any nation. In reality, economic development depends mainly on gender equality and female entrepreneurship. Therefore, this paper thus uncovers the relationship between entrepreneurial activities by women and gender-related economic development. The aim is to investigate the relationship between the rate of female entrepreneurship and gender equality. Emerging evidence from experimental economics and psychology on leadership, mindset, and agency highlights the need for transformative human interventions. Therefore, interventions should cover foundational needs and consider the skills, social and psychological barriers stopping women from building their dreams. Randomized control trials already show that gender-based, training-based, and capital-based interventions can yield more remarkable outcomes.
