Zusammenfassung:The author reviews some of the circumstances that make the case for the desirability of international sanctions against the use of biological weapons (BW), against the violation of the BTWC (the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention), and against false allegations (made by the USSR, the PRC and North Korea against the USA during the Korean War, allegations made by the USSR and Cuba against the USA and the "Yellow Rain" allegations made by the USA against he USSR and Vietnam). The author believes that responses to these BW issues by the international community have been grossly inadequate. (DÜI-Sen)
