Undermined: the implications of mineral export dependence for state formation in Africa

This paper contends that a state's (Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sambia) capacity to improve its relative position in the international division of labour depends on the nature of the leading economic sector through which it is linked to the international economy. (DSE)
