Protection versus underpricing of agriculture in the developing countries a case study of India

In this paper, the author attempts to carry out a study of agriculture protection/taxation based on the NRP (nominal rates of protection) estimate with special reference to 2 major cereals, wheat and rice. The findings of the paper show that India has not kept her agriculture "underpriced"...
