Zusammenfassung:A characteristic of the Turkish Constitutional Court is its open access to the parliamentary opposition and its high degree of independence from the executive branch of the government. The author shows that in Turkey constitutional review provides opportunities for the parliamentary opposition to compensate for its legislative weakness.
