Zusammenfassung: | Prologos -- Ethnos archaiōn -- Bioexusia kai archaiopolitikē -- Genealogies -- Archaio-sōmata -- Archaiopolitiko ēthos -- To ethniko (mas) DNA -- "Panō katō Ellēnes" -- Archaiopolitikē agōgē -- "Leukoi kai negroi dinune ta cheria" -- Symperasma: oi archaiologies tēs lēthēs "Archaeopolitics - a concept that touches on biopolitics as described and bequeathed to us by Foucault - is defined as the public discourse about the past - a discourse that instrumentalises the widespread interest in society in the materialities of yesterday in order to impose new political technologies on the present . In modern societies such as Greece, which are distinguished by a persistent archeological ethos, archaeopolitics appears as a noble-intentioned archeophily, as an invocation of a higher way of life and thought that, although open to all, is only possible for a few. Through incessant performances of this seemingly innocent and politically neutral antiquarianism, we are trained as bodies, as communities, as national subjects or supranational aggregates, or even as cybercitizens inhabiting ever-expanding digital territories, to welcome and accept the identity politics of our time. Mobilizing, therefore, an archaeophilic regime of truth, which entails permanent hierarchies and exclusions, archaeopolitics aims to organize, manage and ultimately control the life of groups and populations in the present"--translation of back cover |
