Zusammenfassung: | Prólogo = Prologue / Florencia Qualina -- REP(UB)LICA -- Rep(Ub)lica / Leandro Martinez Depietri -- La pequeña muerte de la República = The litile death of the Republic / Malena Nijensohn -- Insurrección, Interacción performática = Insurrection: Performotic interaction / Silvio Long -- RESERO VA, COMETH THE DROVER -- Cuando la civilización es barbarie = When civilization is barbarism / Javier Pelacoff -- Resero Va = Corneth The Drover / Juan Tauil -- PANORAMA -- Dibujos = Drawings (2018-2019) Otros dibujos = Other drowings (2017) -- La naturaleza es hermosa = Nature is beautiful (Premio Braque, 2017) -- Ahi va mi sangre = There goes my blood (Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, 2016) -- La naturaleza es hermosa = Nature is beautiful (Excarcel de Cuenca, 2016) -- El doble es uno = The double is 1 (2013) -- Un mundo feliz = Brave new world (2008) -- Biografia = Biography -- Prensa = Press The book documents the sculptural pieces that synthesizes the lines of research addressed by artist Alexis Minkiewicz (Villa Cañás, Provincia de Santa Fe, 1988, lives and works in Buenos Aires), in particular the works presented in his most recent solo exhibitions: Rep[úb]lica (2019, MARCo la Boca) and Resero Va (2016, Centro Cultural Recoleta). The texts that make up the book are linked to the aforementioned exhibitions and bear the signature ofLeandro Martínez De Pietri, Florencia Qualina, Malena Nijensohn, Juan Tauil, Silvio Lang and Javier Pelacoff. All of them perform readings that expand the resonance of the images of Minkiewicz. By articulating them with literary and iconographic traditions, they propose to read the works through perspectives that restore the bodies absent from the heteropatriarchal narrative of History |
