More than an exhibition, 'Lições da Escuridão' (Lessons of Darkness) is the motto for the new and enlarged montage of the Centro Internacional das Artes José de Guimarães (CIAJG). Keeping and updating the programmatic framework of CIAJG, explained with the inaugural exhibition 'Para além da História', the new montage allows not only to revise the ex-libris of the collection of José de Guimarães, works from emblematic institutions of the city of Guimarães, renewing partnerships so fruitful, as well as discover new parts from other contemporary portuguese and foreign artists. Will be presented works of artists like Vasco Barata, Daniel Barroca, Pedro Valdez Cardoso, Rui Chafes, Otelo Fabião, José de Guimarães, Diango Hernández, Ricardo Jacinto, Manuel Viegas Guerreiro, Francisco Janes, Hassan Khan, Manuel Santos Maia, Rosalind Nashashibi and Lucy Skaer, Luís Nobre, Pedro A.
