Zusammenfassung: | "The Morgan Post began its weekly publication in 1909 and ceased in 1911. In 1912 the Morgan County Star began its weekly publication and ceased operations in 1920. The Weber River Independent began its weekly publication in March 1920 and continued the suspended Morgan County Star. The Morgan County Independent began its weekly publication July 8, 1921 and continued until October 1924. It was issued from the same office as the Weber River Independent. In October, 1923, Edna Wallace and her husband, Clement, launched the Morgan County News. It appears to have led to the demise of the Morgan County Independent a year later in October, 1924. The paper was sold to the Perry family in 1925, and later to Albert “Al” Epperson in 1946. Both Al and his uncle William are enshrined in the Utah Newspaper Hall of Fame. This digital collection of newspapers from Morgan County spans 1910 to 1954 featuring issues of the Morgan Post between 1910 and 1911, the Morgan County Star between 1912 and 1914, the Weber River Independent between 1920 and 1923, the Morgan County Independent between 1921 and 1924, and the Morgan County News between 1929 and 1954."
